KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Chief Senator Siraj-ul-Haq has said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)has failed to provide justice to the people of Karachi and not returning the love and response of the masses in the same way; adding that the politics of the Karachi is being held hostage and the streets and roads of the metropolis has been converted into Moen-jo-Daro.
He expressed these views while addressing an “Iftar party”, organized by JI District West in Metroville area, SITE Baldia.
Commenting on BBC report, the JI Pakistan Chief Senator Siraj-ul-Haq stated that the media had already revealed the relations of MQM with enemy of the country in the past, but unfortunately, the governments and other authorities could not take any action against MQM.
Senator Siraj-ul-Haq said that the PPP and MQM have failed to provide relief to the people of Sindh adding that both the parties are enjoyingthe backingof Establishment.
He demanded of the provincial government to accept its negligence towards death of innocent people due to heat stroke in Karachi.
“The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leadership is determined to impose Islamic rules from Chitral to Karachi adding that the leadership has vowed to eliminate corruption, poverty, unemployment and tyrannous from the country”, he added.
He further said that the rulers of the country are not agree to listen the problems of the masses; adding that the entire country has plunged into darkness and facing water shortage during the sacred month of Ramadan.
He said that thenegligence of provincial government has unveiled in Sindh and particularly in Karachi adding that the people of Karachi are still facing water shortage and those who have been ruled the city for last 30years have failed to ensure relief to the masses.
JI Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the rulers are not taking the situation of Karachi seriously and provide shelter to those who getting assistance from RAW—an intelligence wing of India.
He reiterated that the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leadership will move to court against the criminal negligence of K-Electric; adding that the provincial and federal governments are equally responsible for the death of thousands of innocent people in Karachi due to scorching summer and prolonged load-shedding.
Ameer JI District West Abdur Razzaq Khan said that thousands of people have lost their lives due to heat-stroke in Karachi, but the federal and provincial government have not yet taken any effective measures in this regard.
He said that the prosperity and evolution can be brought into the country by following the teachings of Holy Quran.
