ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the movements based on personal interests can never succeed.

The prime minister stated this while chairing a meeting, which reviewed the current political situation. Interior Minister Sheikh Rahseed, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Planning Minister Asad Umar and Science Minister Fawad Chaudhry also attended the meeting.

Imran Khan said that the opposition should be left alone. Our top priority is to control inflation, he said adding that the movements based on personal interests can never succeed.

“I had already declared that there will be no future of the Pakistan Democratic Movement,” the prime minister said.

He said that our difficult economic phase had passed now and added that the PTI-led government would come upto the expectations of the masses.
