Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq strongly condemned death sentence pronounced to the deposed Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and termed the verdict as ‘decision of pharaoh’.
Sirajul Haq while addressing public gathering in Peshawar said that Egyptian court revised same decision like Pharaoh when pronounced death sentence to Mohamed Morsi.
JI Ameer also raised strong voice against atrocities against masses especially for minorities in the country. He said that JI still standing with minorities as the political party provided all facilities to Sikhs and Hindus in Mardan. Siraj reminded he was the first person that visited Kasur district when culprits burnt alive a Christian couple.
He said that all decisions were subjected to power and money in the country but there was no relief for citizens. JI Ameer demanded same system to provide justice free from discrimination of rich and poor.
He said that Indian intelligence agency Research & Analysis Wing (RAW) is behind terrorism attacks across the country. He urged need of peacefulness to bear fruit of economic development.
While commenting over Pakistan-China Economic Corridor, Sirajul Haq said that route changes will be considered as destruction plan for the project by the government.
