Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman announced that crescent was not sighted for Shaban, hence the Islamic month will start on Monday – May 09, 2016.
The announcement was made post session of central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee held in Karachi today.
Mufti Muneeb said no evidences were found regarding moon sighting of Shaban, hence Shab-e-Baraat will be celebrated in mid-night between May 22 and 23.
