Moin Khan turns 44

LAHORE: Moin Khan, one of the finest wicket-keepers of Pakistan, has turned to be 44 year-old on Wednesday, whose ‘Shahbash Shabash’ was the familiar sound bite for bowlers of his team specially.

The right-hand batsman was born on Sept 23, 1971 in Rawalpindi. He has played for Pakistan from 1990 to 2004 and is currently serving as team manager in Pakistan Cricket Board. He has also captained the Pakistani side.

He has scored over 3,266 ODI runs and taken over 200 catches in ODI cricket, while he scored 2,741 runs in Test matches. He is credited with coining the name of of Saqlain Mushtaq’s mystery delivery that goes from leg to off, as the doosra, the other one.
