LONDON: England star all-rounder Moeen Ali hoped that Pakistan star off-spinner Saeed Ajmal will return to his best form soon, as bowler already started playing county cricket.

Ajmal return to county cricket was not the best as he played first match for Worcestershire in which he went for 55 runs from four overs at Northampton, although he did take three wickets, but two days later produced a far more economical return of 1-26.

Moeen Ali said that due to change in his [Ajmal] action the bowler lost his form and it required little more time to return to form with new action.

On this occasion Worcestershire coach Steve Rhodes said “Saeed’s a natural competitor. Getting results for the team is the most important thing, but I’m really pleased with what I see from him. I’m sure he’s going to have a good season for us.”

“He’s still got that reputation and we’re excited to have him back in the dressing room,” he added.
