Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has left for Delhi after meeting his Pakistani courter part Nawaz Shairf at Jati Umra on Friday.
Modi who has paid a surprise visit to Pakistan for the first time in 11 years, discussed relations of both countries.
PM Nawaz also celebrated his 66th birthday with Modi as well.
It is pertinent to mention here that, Nawaz Sharif accompanied by Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Federal Minister Ishaq Dar and other federal ministers had received his Indian counterpart on arrival at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
Security in and around the Allama Iqbal International Airport has been beefed up.
In a message posted on social media, Modi stated that he is looking forward to a meeting with Nawaz Sharif today in the afternoon. Modi was on a one-day visit to Afghanistan where he inaugurated the Parliament building which was built with help of India.
Modi landed in Kabul after his visit to Russia. Vladimir Putin and Narendra Modi had signed defence deal among other pacts.
Earlier, Modi had wished Nawaz Sharif on his birthday today.
