ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that Model Town tragedy was repeated in Karachi.
“We will hold protests on February 6 in all districts against privatization and anti-masses tax policies of the government,” Khan announced.
“I am participating myself in the protest because this democratic dictatorship is crushing the common man,” he said.
Khan strongly condemned the use of force against protesting PTI workers.
At least two PIA workers were killed and over a dozen were wounded during a clash with law enforcement agencies at Karachi airport.
“If government was adamant on privatization of PIA, it should have taken the workers into confidence,” he said, adding that attempt was being made to oblige cronies.
