Peshawar: It has been decided to stop mobile service in 14 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 9th and 10th of Muharram.
According to the sources of the Interior Department, mobile service will be suspended on Saddar, Inner City, Pashtakhara, Nothia, Hasan Ghari, Tahkal and Pachgi Road on 9 Muharram, while mobile service will remain suspended in Inner City Peshawar and Vadpaga until 9 PM on Ashura Day.
According to the sources of interior department, mobile service will be closed in Mardan city on Ashura day from 8 am to 10 pm, signals will be closed in Nowshera cantt on 9th and 10th of Muharram.
Mobile service will remain suspended near Imambargahs in Abbottabad, Mansehra and Haripur, while mobile service will remain suspended in Kohat Shahr, Hangu, Karam, Orakzai, Bannu Shahr and Lakki Marwat, while sensitive areas of DI Khan and Tank will remain suspended. Mobile signals will also remain suspended, internet service will be restored on landline Wi-Fi.
According to the sources of the Interior Department, internet service on mobile phones will also be suspended on the ninth and tenth of Muharram.
