PAKISTAN: Chairman of the Central Reut-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said that the minimum amount of fitra per person is Rs 100.
The chairman of the Central Reut-e-Hilal Committee made the announcement as the holy month is nearing its end and people throughout the Muslim world prepare to give fitra or charity money.
Muneeb stated that with respect to wheat, the fitra amount is Rs 100 per person. With regard to oat, it is also Rs 320 per person and with regard to dates, Rs 550 per person.
Rs 1600 per person is the amount that has been fixed for fitra with regard to raisins.
