MINA: The death toll of Pakistanis in Mina stampede climbs up to 11 on Saturday, including nephew of former prime minister.
Ministry of religious affairs on Saturday released name list of 10 Pakistanis who were confirm martyred in the stampede.
The names include nephew of former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani Asad Murtaza Gilani, Mehmood Arshad, Zahid Gul, Dr Aamir Ali Lashari, Touseef Iftikhar Hafsa Shoaib, Zareen Naseem, Syeda Narjis Shehnaz, Zainab Bibi and Rashdeen Bibi, while name of one new death could not be made public.
Meanwhile, about 316 Pakistani pilgrims are missing since the Mina tragedy in which more than 717 pilgrims were martyred and as much injured.
The ministry of religious affairs said it was continuously in contact with Saudi authorities, so that complete information could be availed about injured and missing persons.
