KARACHI: Price of milk will be increased by Rs20 per litre during the current month, says the Karachi Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association.

Shakir Umar Gujjar, the president of Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association said the rising inflation had compelled them to hike the milk prices.

He added that the price of milk was being enhanced in the wake of increase in petrol ond diesel prices as well as production expenses.

To a question, Shakir Gujjar claimed that 95 per cent of milk being supplied to Karachi is pure. He added that only five per cent of the dairy farmers are endulged in supplying impure milk.

The Karachi Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association president demanded of the government to review the feed export policy.
