Karachi police chief has formed a nine-member investigation team to hold probe into firing case of Military Police officials in Karachi.
A notification released regarding formation in this regards on Wednesday. The high-level police officials in the probe team include DIG CIA, SSP South, SSP West, SSP Investigation South, SSP CTD, SSP SIU, DSP Preedy which would be headed by DIG South Dr. Jamil.
Formation of the probe committee was made over special directions of Inspector General (IG) Sindh police. The team will present developments before the IG Sindh police on daily basis while DIG South was permitted to summon assistance of any police range in Karachi.
According to notification, the team was tasked to identify and arrest the culprits involved in the coward attack.
It should be mentioned that two Military Police officials were murdered by firing of unidentified assailants on a busy road in Karachi yesterday.
