At least 11 Colombian military officials lost their lives on Friday following a CN-235 military plane crashed in the northern province of Cesar in Colombia.
Airbus CN-235 military transport aircraft was crashed due to motor failure in the northern province of Cesar in Colombia today that killed at least 11 military personnel in the incident.
Colombian Air Force confirmed deaths of all on board personnel in the air accident.
Debris of the plane was found near the town of Codazzi, about 600 km (372 miles) northeast of Bogota near the border with Venezuela, foreign news agency reported.
Manufacturer of the CN235 aircraft, Airbus, said in a recent statement that the plane was produced in Seville, Spain in 1998. Airbus spokesperson said that the thoughts of the company and its employees are with those affected by this accident.
The recent incident occurred after another incident of plane crash took place in May where a new Airbus military transport plane called the A400M crashed during a test flight in Spain that claimed lives of three persons.
