TORONTO: Microsoft will build two new data centres in Canada. One would be in Toronto and the other will be in Quebec city.

Kevin Turner, chief operating officer for the computing giant, made the announcement in Toronto on Tuesday. He said that the new data centres would upgrade the company’s cloud computing business, which was growing rapidly.

He said that they would not compromise on speed. The firm would spend 2.5 billion dollars on cloud computing services in current year.
