After a long standing dispute, Metro Buses administration and drivers reached to an agreement over provision of salaries without deductions for the current month.
The agreement was made over issuance of salaries without making any deduction to the drivers of Metro Buses in Islamabad. The drivers would also be paid over-time allowances of June 2015 before Eid-ul-Fitr festival.
Moreover, an increment would be made in salaries of the drivers and they all would be considered as employees of Turkish company operating the buses’ project.
It should be mentioned here that Metro drivers had lodged strike for two days that troubled passengers in the twin cities, Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
