KARACHI: The Meteorological Department has forecast further drop in temperature for Karachi in the coming days.
According to a spokesperson for the Meteorological Department, the weather system in the northern part of the country has gone away, however, the effects of the system are visible in the form of cold winds in the southern part.
He added that the temperature is likely to drop further in a few days and this year the winter may be longer than usual and the temperature may be below normal.
Winter spell in the northern part of the country is likely to last till April next year while it is likely to prevail in the southern part till February.
