Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, inaugurated Mehran underpass constructed on Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi here on Friday.
Mehran underpass’ estimated cost of 58 crore constructed more than four months, CM Sindh said during a press conference while inaugurating the project.
CM Qaim Ali Shah said that the Sindh government is continuously working on different projects to control traffic situation in the metropolis.
While commenting over arrest of Dr. Asim Hussain, CM Sindh said that he held meetings with Director General (DG) Rangers and Corps Commander Karachi regarding arrest of the renowned personality ‘having post equivalent to a minister.’
He confirmed that records of revenue and land departments were scrutinised in the Civic Centre, however, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) have no rights to intervene matters of any provincial government.
