RAWALPINDI: A meeting was held to review the dengue arrangements in different parts of the district.
The meeting was conducted by District Coordination Officer (DCO) Talat Mehmood Gondal here on Monday.
Addressing on the occassion, DCO has stressed the need for coordinated efforts to timely check the hot spots and effective indoor and outdoor surveillance so that anti dengue measures could be made fruitful.
He said that eradication of dengue is not responsibility of any individual entity, adding that it is a joint responsibility of all government departments, local bodies and community to work together and ensure pre-emptive measures to address the issue without any delay.
He said that strict action would be taken against those showing negligence in performance of their duties.
He directed to clean graveyards, tyre shops and godowns.
He said all the departments should play role to make the campaign successful.
