Floyd Mayweather has denied all allegations of having an infusion of saline and vitamins on the eve of his super-fight with Manny Pacquiao and said he has never broken any rules.
A report claims that the 38-year-old was given an IV drip ahead of the 2 May bout and had received favourable treatment from the US Anti-Doping Agency (Usada).
Usada countered in a statement that the report was “riddled with significant inaccuracies and misrepresentations”.
Mayweather said he was “very proud to be a clean athlete”.
The undefeated boxer said “I follow and have always followed the rules of Nevada and Usada, the gold standard of drug testing.
