LAHORE: In order to get her name removed from the Exit Control List (ECL), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court here on Saturday.
The daughter of former premier Nawaz Sharif, in her plea, prayed to the court to allow her to travel to the UK for six weeks as her father is under treatment there.
Nawaz Sharif had arrived in London last month for medical treatment.
Earlier on Friday, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court challenging the Lahore High Court’s (LHC) decision to grant bail to Maryam Nawaz, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and daughter of former premier Nawaz Sharif.
The petition has been filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
NAB, in its plea, prayed to the LHC that it had not properly considered the case records.
