The martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (RA) (Yaum-e-Ali) will be observed here on Wednesday (21st of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak 1439 Hijrah) with full religious fervour.
Hazrat Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) was the 4th caliph of Muslim Ummah.
He took the reins of caliphate into his hand in a crucial time when Muslim Ummah was facing negative propaganda of non-believers and hypocrites.
However, Hazrat Ali (RA) with his wisdom and foresightedness foiled all conspiracies being hatched against Muslim Ummah and laid down exemplary precedents for the faithful to lead an honorable life.
Religious organizations will arrange a number of meetings, seminars, sittings and workshops to mark this day on Wednesday (June 06, 2018).
The day will start with special prayers almost in city mosques immediately after Fajr Prayers. Religious scholars and prayer leaders will deliver special sermons to highlight the teachings and various aspects of the life of Hazrat Ali (RA).
Faithful will also arrange Langar (free food) and Iftar dinners on this occasion to seek blessings of Allah Almighty for them.
