LAHORE: The Punjab government has allowed to reopen marriage halls and markets from Sept 15 in the province.
Sources said that a 10-point standard operation procedure (SOP) will have to be followed for reopening the marriage halls and markets.
Wearing face mask and gloves will be mandatory for both the bride and groom at the marriage halls. They will also have to maintain social distancing on the premises of a marriage hall, according to the SOPs.
The sources said that the installation of a sanitiser gate at the entrance of marriage halls will be must.
The added that the halls will be allowed to entertain guests half of their total capacity.
