ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has issued special standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the holy month of Ramazan.
According to the new SOPs, the inter-provincial public transport will remain suspended on the Saturdays and Sundays. Markets will be opened from Sehri to 6pm in the evening. Cinemas, shrines and parks will also remain closed. All the activities including social, political and sports has been banned.
An awareness campaign will be launched through the media and community to encourage wearing of face masks.
The Namaz-e-Taraweeh will be offered at open spaces. The next NCOC meeting to review the inter-provincial public transport situation will be held on April 20.
