ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee on Saturday issued price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets are as follows:
Potato Rs.35 per kg, Onion Rs.33, Tomato Rs. 65, Ginger Rs.88, Garlic (China) Rs.270, Lemon Rs.65, Lady Finger Rs.90, Pumpkin Rs.92, Brinjal Rs.65, Peas Rs.150, Farsh Bean Rs.88, Tanda Walaiti Rs.90, Cucumber Rs.55, Capsicum Rs.65, Green Chilli Rs.60, Cauliflower Rs. 90/70, Cabbage Rs.45, Bitter gourd Rs.62, Spinach Rs.30, Turnip Rs.50, Maroo Rs.85, Yam Rs.58 per kg, Carrot Rs.56, Chicken Rs.141 and Egg per dozen Rs. 91.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs. 160, Apple White Rs. 110, Apple China Rs. 200, Apple New Zealand Rs.260, Pear China Rs.165, Banana Pak Rs.135/80, Apricot Rs 165/130, Peach Rs 85/60, Mango (Langra) Rs.60/48, Mango Chaunsa 95/70 and Mango Doseri Rs 70/50.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
