ISLAMABAD: Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain is likely to meet President Xi Jinping in Chinese city Wuzhen on Wednesday where he will be attending the 2nd World Internet Conference.
During the bilateral meeting to be held on sideline of the conference, they will discuss issues of common interest.
President Mamnoon Hussain’s participation in the World Internet conference will help Pakistan address its cyber security issues and enhance cooperation for beneficial use of internet technology,
The President will attend the 2nd World Internet Conference to be held at Wuzhen from 16-18 December. President Xi Jinping will deliver a key note address at the opening ceremony of the conference.
World Internet Conference is a joint venture of the Cyberspace Administration of China and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, Peoples Republic of China.
The purpose of the conference is to serve as a platform for building a cyberspace community of shared destiny, advocate worldwide respect for diversity and to forge consensus and confronting risks to cyber security jointly. Pakistan’s participation in the Conference will help Pakistan address its cyber security issues and enhance cooperation for beneficial use of internet technology.
