Pakistan legend Wasim Akram has left Islamabad United and joined Multan for the next edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Tuesday.

As per details, He was searving as a mentor for the first edition champions.

Wasim Akram was also the cricket director of the Islamabad United team. He is a former Pakistani cricketer and is acknowledged as one of the greatest cricketers of his generation and arguably the greatest left arm pacer of all time.

In 2013, Wasim Akram was the only Pakistani cricketer to be named in the all-Test World XI for the 150th anniversary of Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack. He is also considered to be one of the founders and perhaps the greatest exponent of reverse swing.

Mastery over swing and seam bowling along with the ability to move the ball both ways made Wasim Akram a constant threat to batsmen. He was the first bowler to reach 500 wickets in ODI, a mark that was later surpassed by legendary Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan.
