Magnitude 5.8 quake jolts KPK, Upper Punjab

ISLAMABAD: A high intensity earthquake jolted upper Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday.

The quake hit Dera Ismail Khan, Jhang, Peshawar, Attock, Dir, Islamabad, Lahore, Hangu, Malakand, Swat, Bajor Agency, Astor, Dir Bala and their surroundings.

The centre of the quake was in Hindu Kush mountain region and its intensity was 5.8 magnitude, higher then yesterday’s which was 4.3 on reactor scale.

People came out of their houses in panic but now loss of life of property reported yet.
