Pat McAfee has announced retirement from the Indianapolis Colts to join growing media outlet Barstool Sports.
The two-time Pro Bowl punter, the city’s most popular athlete, had a meeting with the owner of Indianapolis Colts, Jima Irsay, and inform of the decision.
29-year-old McAfee had played eight seasons in the NFL.
McAfee in a note posted on Twitter felicitated Indianapolis Colts, its owner Jim Irsay and Indianapolis city for their support for years.
The popular athlete also said that his new role at the Barstool Sports will based in the Indianapolis city, whom he called as home for the past eight seasons.
