KARACHI: At least nine persons were injured following cracker blast occurred in Lyari Town of Karachi.
Security forces claimed to have arrested two suspects in wounded condition from the scene while heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies cordoned off whole area.
The incident took place in Sangolane area in Lyari Town while the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital.
Superintendent Police (SP) Lyari Aftab Nizamani said the cracker suddenly denoted itself when attackers were sitting at the crime scene. He added the alleged attackers were arrested in wounded condition while further investigation is continued.
Moreover, another cracker attack occurred here on Sunday in Rangiwara area of the same town which injured an eight-year-old boy.
