Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Zafar Abbasi, who played a real hero of Captain Kashif’s story Alpha Bravo Charlie, passed away today (Wednesday).
Col Zafar Abbasi was one on which Capt Kashif’s story was based in “Alpha,Bravo Charlie”. Imputed limbs, passed away today.
He caught in frost bite while defending the highest peak of Siachen in 1987.
He lost his both legs and hands. Besides such injury, He continued his services for Pakistan Army and retired as Lt Col. He could do all his work by his own. He could walk, eat, pray, and even drove from his artificial legs and hand. Salute to the such Shaheens of MotherLand)
