LONDON: London Mayor Sadiq Khan has strongly condemned the Islamophobic slogans spray painted on the walls near a mosque here in the city.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday Khan said:”Disgusted to hear that Islamophobic slogans have been spray painted near the North Brixton Islamic Centre. @metpoliceuk are working with Lambeth Council to have them removed, but let me be clear: all prejudice is cowardly and criminals will face the full force of the law.”

Earlier a British newspaper The Guardian had reported that anti-Islamic slogans were spray-painted on the walls of a house near London’s North Brixton Islamic Cultural Centre.
Local police said that they are making efforts to quickly remove the anti-Islamic slogans from the walls.
