ISLAMABAD: A local employee of US embassy in Islamabad has been killed outside his house on Sunday. Police said that unidentified gunmen killed a local employee of the US Embassy in Islamabad.
Police said the victim was a member of the Shia Ismaili minority community and worked in the US Drug Enforcement Administration in the embassy.
The assassinated was identified as Iqbal Baig. He was killed outside his home. Police official said that Iqbal Baig had been working in the US Drug Enforcement Administration for 12 to 13 years. Police said that he received threats in the recent past.
