KARACHI: The ongoing heat-wave and power load shedding have risen generators’ demand in Karachi.
Generator Dealers said that their sales became more than doubled in the last four days of the intense heat-wave.
A dealer said that those who were selling 10 generators a day before Ramazan are now clearing 25 units on an average per day.
People are buying from one to three kilovolt-ampere (kVA) generators for their homes. A chunk of demand for three to six kVA generators comes from tailor masters and stitching units who had to complete their orders for Eidul Fitr.
