Life imprisonment awarded to accused Tehseen Anjum in firing case

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Tuesday awarded life-imprisonment to accused Tehseen Anjum who was found involved in injuring a police personnel in a firing case.

ATC Judge Sohail Ikram heard the case and awarded accused Tehseen Anjum and acquitted a co-accused Najam ul Saqib for giving him benefit of doubt in the case.

The Prosecutor of the case, Akram Gondal argued that both the accused were involved in firing incident on Eagle Squad.

It may be mentioned here that case under different sections including Anti-Terrorism was registered against both the accused in 2014.
