Libya: Abdullah’s warplanes hit Tripoli airport

TRPOLI: Warplanes loyal to Prime Minister Abdullah Al-Thinni attacked on Capital, Mitiga airport. Rivals hold the control of Libyan capital.

Army spokesperson, Muhammad El Hejazi said that air strikes were launched to target Mitiga Airpot, Tripoli to eradicate terrorism.

While Mitiga Airport spokes person Abdulsalam Baumoud has said that the attacks were failed and planes had missed the targets.

Sources said that a missile battery, 10 kilometer far from Tripoli airport had been hit. Air strikes were launched after the Thinii-led government army chief shows concerns over UN- backed talks in Morocco to resolve political unrest in the country.
