Liaqat Baloch urges national strategy, clear policy over Kashmir

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Secretary General and former parliamentary leader Liaqat Baloch urged national leadership to announce strategy and clear policy for Kashmir in upcoming session of Parliament on August 09.

While addressing different public meetings and District Bar in Lahore, Liaqat Baloch said the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif made delayed steps for Kashmiris including meeting of National Security Council, observance of Black Day and his visit to Muzaffarabad for addressing Kashmiris. However, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) praised the developments of the government to support Kashmiris.

He stressed for appointments of permanent foreign and defence minister to gain confidence of nation and implantation of good governance. He demanded removal of barricades for establishment of judicial commission for opening transparent probe and accountability of corruption cases.

Baloch congratulated ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) over solid victory in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) election 2016. He said AJK is base camp for Kashmir movement which needed to be highlighted for providing self-determination right of Kashmiris.

Liaqat Baloch condemned terrorism incident in Munich shopping mall and expressed sorrow over killing of eight persons. He expressed solidarity with German nation. He urged Europeon countries, United States (U.S.), United Kingdom (UK) to avoid religious discrimination to completely eliminate terrorism and establishment of peace across the World.
