LAHORE: Secretary General, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan, Liaqat Baloch, has left on a 12-day tour to Europe and Scandinavian countries. He is scheduled to visit Turkey, Germany, Norway, Denmark and Italy.
In Turkey, he would meet the Turkish leadership during the last stage of the Turkish elections. HE would observe the election campaign there.
In European countries, the JI Secretary General would address the Pakistani community. Leaders of the European Muslim Council would also join him in the tour.
In the absence of Liaqat Baloch, Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha would act as JI Secretary General.
