Liaqat Baloch declares corruption as prime issue of Pakistan

LAHORE: Jamat-e-Islami Secretary General Liaqat Baloch declared corruption as the prime issue of Pakistan and added that it is the root cause of all issues in the state.

While addressing a press conference in Al-Markaz-Islami-Peshaw,  he announced to launch “Corruption free Pakistan”  drive on February-27 from Karak District.

The JI leader said that Pakistan hold top position in the list of 50 most corrupt countries of the world. He said that even India and Ethiopia are less corrupt countries as compare to our country.

He said that Prime Minister took action when National Accountability Bureau took action against Mansha, Dawood and other influential groups.

Liaqat Baloch was of the view that masses are helpless and the corrupt enjoying support by the supremo.

“That is why, JI decided to rise the masses against corruption and launching “Corruptions Free Pakistan” campaign,” he added. The JI leader said that they would take signature from 10 million people in the drive and expert would produce corruption evidences during the drive.

During the campaign, JI would hold protest demonstrations and walks to bring awareness among people against corruption. He said that JI would nip the corruption in the bud. He expressed his satisfaction over the JI ministers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Baloch said that JI Ameer Sirajul Haq would inaugurate the “Corruption Free Pakistan” campaign on February in Karak.
