LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Saturday ordered to remove unconditionally the name of Ex-PM Nawaz Sharif from the no-fly list.

The court, in its order, observed that the permission for treatment abroad is for four weeks. However, the further extension in the permission is linked with the opinion of the doctors.

Earlier on Thursday, the PML-N had challenged the government’s condition of submitting indemnity bond worth Rs7.5 billion to remove its Quaid’s name from the exit control list in the court.

In this connection, two petitions were filed – one in Islamabad High Court while the other in Lahore High Court.

Both the applications were submitted on behalf of PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif.
