LAHORE: Lahore high Court (LHC) has a ban on publishing and televising picture or speech of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain.
LHC three member bench hearing treason case against Altaf Hussain stated that the statements given by MQM chief are against Pakistan and its army which are treason under article 6.
The court imposed the ban on publishing and televising picture or speech of Altaf Hussain and ordered PEMRA and other concerns authorities to follow the ban strictly.
Earlier, LHC imposed ban on live coverage of Altaf Hussain.
