NAWABSHAH: The Oath-taking ceremony of recently elected representatives of District Shaheed Benazirabad was held at H.M. Khoja Auditorium, here on Thursday.
Additional District and Sessions Judge, Mr Manzoor Ahmed Memon and Senior Civil Judge, Mr Ghulam Abbas Siyal administered oath to 57 members of District Council, 57 Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of Union Councils, Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of eight Town Committees and 228 general councilors took oath of their offices.
The elected representatives of 43 wards of Nawabshah Municipal Committee, 09 wards of Town Committee Daur and 03 Union Councils did not take oath due to order of High Court in objection case on delimitation. The supporters and well wishers of elected representatives were also present on the occasion.
