ISLAMABAD: District administration has imposed Section 144 for 13 days in the federal capital Islamabad following upcoming local government (LG) election to be held on November 30, 2015.
A notification has been released in this regards which restricted arms’ exhibition and imposition of strict penalties for violators of administrative magistrate under Section 144.
The notification will be effective today from 12:00 midnight to next 13 days till December 3, 2015.
It should be mentioned here that the LG polls will be held on Monday November 30, 2015 which will be continued uninterrupted from 7:30am till 5:30pm, according to the schedule announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
