ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the letter shown by Prime Minister Imran Khan in rally was shared with the military leadership.
Talking to a private TV channel on Sunday, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said, “I do not think that these letters will be shown off the record. It is the discretion of the prime minister to show the letter.
He said that we were given a threatening message through a letter. It is a secret document, we cannot show it like this. We can also tell the date on the day the letter was received, Qureshi said.
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan, while waving a letter in a public meeting today, claimed that an attempt was being made to change the government with the help of money from outside the country. We were threatened in writing, he said.
He offered to show the off-the-record letter to anyone who had any doubts.
Earlier today Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed a public meeting at Parade Ground in the federal capital.
Addressing the gathering here on Sunday, Imran Khan said that he paid tribute to his team for not accepting money against changing loyalties.

He said that he did not know the ideology of Pakistan for a long time. He said he went abroad at the age of 18. Went to university and then played cricket. He said that what Allah tells Muslims is seen in the West. I did not see the ideology of Pakistan in Pakistan but in the West, he said.
Imran Khan said that not a small thief but a big dacoit destroys the country. These three thieves have been sucking the blood of the country for thirty years now. Their money is out. Give them NRO, they have been trying since day one, he aded.
He said that General Musharraf oppressed this nation by giving NRO to them under their pressure to save his government. It is known that I will never forgive them, he said.

Imran Khan further said that he did not close his country in Corona. I was criticized and people said that Imran is destroying the country. The Sindh government also did not listen to me but today the whole world recognized what Pakistan did. I saved the nation, economy and the poor from it, he said.
