PESHAWAR: The cricket team of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will face Punjab Assembly team in the first match of the two matches here and the match to be played at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore on May 17.
This was stated by Member Provincial Assembly Shoukat Yousafzai while talking to mediamen. He said arrangements in this connection have already been completed and the first match of the bilateral series will be played
at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore, followed by another at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium. Skipper of the made cricket team, Shoukat Yousafzai said that the aim of the match is to establish cordial relation between the legislatures of the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assemblies.
He said more match of the same nature would be organized with members of the Balochistan and Sindh Assemblies.
He said the team comprising Minister and MPAs including Mehmood Khan, Shah Farman, Ali Amin Gandhapur, Dr. Amjad, Ishtiaq Urmar, Mohib Ullah Khan, Muhammad Ali, Khalique, Muhammad Arshad Khan, Mehmood Jan, Gul Shahib Khan, Zia Ullah Bangash, Shah Faisal and Shah Hussain.
He said that the final team will be announced on May 16. He said the KP Assembly team have already started their practice at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium. He said after playing in Lahore, the team of Punjab Assembly will visit Peshawar for the second tie.
