KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have arrested former chairman of Association of Builders And Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) Baber Chughtai.
Sources said that Chughtai has been arrested on allegedly helping target killers and land grabbing mafia. He was shifted to an undisclosed location after arresting by the law enforcers.
While family members of Chughtai said that (LEA’s) arrested him two days ago in a raid on his house.
On the other hand Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rabita Committee declared the arrest as open revenge action adding that he has been arrested just for giving donation to the MQM.
The committee further added that Baber Chughtai has played vital role in development of Karachi. The committee asked that did it crime to give donation to political party.
