KARACHI: The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel arrested 13 outlaws besides recovering arms and snatched bikes in separate actions across the metropolis city on Sunday.
Spokesman of Frontier Corps (FC) said that the paramilitary force during targeted actions in Korangi, Haideri, Zaman Town and Shalimar area of Karachi detained five outlaws including member of militant wing of a political party, a gang war criminal, two extortionists and two robbers. Arms were recovered from the possession of the detainees.
During snap checking two suspects were also apprehended with the weapons.
The police during crackdown in New Karachi arrested six criminals including a woman. Arms and three snatched bikes were recovered from the possession of the detainees stated to be involved in more than 100 street crimes during last three years.
The LEAs confiscated the recovered arms, impounded the motorcycles and the detainees were being interrogated.
