LAHORE: Home Minister Punjab Col (Retd) Shuja Khanzada has said that the terrorists killed in Ferozewala operation were planning to hit IB office at Mall road.
He appreciated law enforcement agencies to foil the terrorism bid. He said that Al-Qaida organized the plan. The Home Minister said that they recovered 4 suicide jests, 4 AK-47,rocket launchers and other ammunitions from their possession.
While addressing a press conference in Lahore he said that the attackers were given 5 months tanning in Afghanistan. He said that three of them belonged to Wana.
He said that a large scale terrorism bid in Lahore had been foiled after the successful operation in Ferozewala.
