BADIN: Former Sindh home minister Zulfiqar Mirza’s candidates on Thursday won all 14 seats of district Badin in the Local Body elections.

Mirza’s candidates gave humiliated defeat to Pakistan Peoples Party candidates in the district during the polls. Former Sindh home minister Zulfiqar Mirza announced last month that he had decided to form his own political party after having been sidelined from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for the past many years.

He said on the occasion, “dacoits and looters will be kicked out from Sindh.” Zulfiqar Mirza was disowned by the PPP in February after having sever conflicts with the senior leadership.
