ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that law and order situation of the country has improved due to effective policies and measures of the government.
Addressing a ceremony at National Defense University in Islamabad, he said National Action Plan was formulated with consensus after the APS tragedy.
Chaudhry Nisar said that internal security of the country is a national obligation and continuous efforts and monitoring are needed in this regard.
He said that the present government formulated policy for internal security of the country for the first time.
Chaudhry Nisar said that previous governments did not formulate any internal security policy despite terrorism incidents in the country.
